Three reasons couples typically choose combined coverage:

1. Cost. Combined packages save £500–£800 versus booking a separate photographer and videographer at similar quality. You’re paying one supplier for the day, not two.

2. Consistency. Photos and the wedding film share the same eye, the same colour grading sensibility, the same documentary approach. Two suppliers means two creative visions — sometimes they clash.

3. Calmer day. One person to brief, one person on the day, one less group of suppliers to coordinate. Couples tell me this is the biggest benefit they didn’t expect.

Some couples do prefer two separate suppliers if they want a specific photographer and a specific videographer who work in very different styles. That’s a valid choice. But for most couples, combined coverage is the practical and creative win.

Honest answer: I don’t shoot both with two cameras at the same time — that approach compromises both. Instead, I prioritise different equipment for different moments:

Video runs throughout the key moments where audio matters — the ceremony, confetti, cake cut, first dance, garden party before the meal, speeches. Cameras are set up to capture these continuously, with proper lapel mics on the celebrant and key speakers.

Photography happens between and around those moments — group shots, sunset portraits, candid reception coverage, prep, and any specific photos couples have asked for. I switch cameras and switch focus.

This works because the moments where you want the video (sound, motion, the actual ceremony unfolding) are different from the moments where you want a perfect still (group portraits, the kiss, the rings, the dress detail). Trying to do both simultaneously gives you mediocre versions of both. Doing them in sequence gives you excellent versions of each.

For very large weddings or couples who want extensive simultaneous coverage of multiple moments, a second shooter is available as an add-on.

Combined packages start from £1,599 for ceremony-led Bronze coverage and go up to £2,499 for full-day Gold with drone and 360° included.

For comparison, the same level of separate-supplier coverage typically costs:

• Photographer alone: £1,500–£2,500 for a full day at similar quality
• Videographer alone: £1,500–£2,800 for a full day at similar quality
• Combined separate suppliers: £3,000–£5,000+

So the combined package isn’t just slightly cheaper — it’s genuinely half the price of hiring two separate suppliers at equivalent quality. The savings come from shared travel, shared planning, and a single edit pipeline rather than two.

Photos arrive first. You’ll typically get a sneak peek of edited photos within the first week, and the full photo gallery within 2–3 weeks. The wedding film follows — the highlight film within 2–4 weeks, and the full-length feature within 4 weeks at the latest.

This staggered delivery is intentional. Editing photos and editing film are different jobs that compete for time. Photos are usually finished first because the workflow is faster; the film takes longer because of audio mixing, colour grading and music sync.

Either way, you’ll always know exactly where you are in the process. No three-month silence.

Yes — that’s the whole point of booking together. Both the photos and the film are colour-graded to the same sensibility: warm, cinematic, never over-saturated or filtered. The same approach to mood, light and skin tone runs through both.

If you put a still from the wedding film next to a photograph from the same moment, they’ll look like they belong to the same wedding. With separate suppliers, this is rarely true — you often end up with a warm, classic photo set and a cool, blue-tinted film, or vice versa.

Yes — common add-ons include:

• Live streaming — broadcast-grade ceremony streaming for guests who can’t attend (read more about live streaming)
• Extra hours — extending coverage by 1–2 hours (typical for late receptions or split-venue ceremonies)
• Engagement / pre-wedding shoot — relaxed shoot before the wedding day
• Albums and prints — designed together based on your favourite images
• Raw video footage — unedited clips on USB for couples who want everything
• Second shooter — for very large weddings or simultaneous coverage of multiple moments
