Sprowston Manor Wedding Videographer
Some evenings just give you everything. I filmed Pauline & Holly’s summer wedding at Sprowston Manor near Norwich — an outdoor ceremony by the fountain, golden light across the grounds, and a celebration that ran warm and joyful right into the night. This one was captured on film, with the drone up over the gardens to set it all in its landscape.
Filmed at Sprowston Manor, Norwich
Sprowston Manor Hotel, Golf & Country Club sits in parkland on the edge of Norwich (Wroxham Road, Sprowston, NR7 8RP) — a 16th-century manor house with a golf course, a lake and a fountain, and a white lakeside gazebo where couples can say their vows outdoors. On a clear summer evening, with the sky turning gold behind the fountain, it’s about as lovely a setting for a ceremony as Norfolk offers.

The ceremony by the fountain
Pauline and Holly chose to marry outdoors, in front of the fountain by the lakeside gazebo, with their celebrant standing at the summer house and their guests gathered close on the lawn. Filming an outdoor ceremony like this is a joy — the light is natural and soft, the setting does half the work, and the emotion has room to breathe. I work quietly throughout, so the vows unfold in the couple’s own words and nobody’s performing for a camera. Two brides, one beautiful evening, and not a single staged moment.
Aerials: the drone & the love-heart shot
Why fly the drone at Sprowston Manor?
The grounds at Sprowston Manor are made for aerial footage — the fountain, the lake, the fairways rolling away toward the trees. My favourite moment to film came from the air: Pauline and Holly at the centre with their guests gathered around them in the shape of a love heart, the whole thing only readable from above. It’s exactly what drone footage is for — a shot you simply can’t get from the ground, and one that lifts a wedding film from lovely to genuinely cinematic.
Into the evening: toast, food & the disco
Inside, the celebration was run beautifully — a toastmaster keeping the evening flowing, food that everyone was still talking about, and a disco that filled the floor as the light went down. This is the part of a wedding film couples come back to: the speeches and the laughter, the first moves on the dancefloor, the room full of the people who matter most. I stay on into the party, because some of the warmest footage comes once everyone’s forgotten there’s a camera in the room.
A same-sex & LGBTQ+ friendly wedding videographer in Norfolk
Pauline and Holly’s was a same-sex wedding, and — like every wedding I film — the day was simply about the two of them. Every couple is welcome, every couple is filmed the same way: relaxed, documentary-led, and cinematic in the finish, with the focus kept entirely on your story rather than on performing for the lens. If you’re a couple looking for a Norfolk wedding videographer who’ll capture your day exactly as it is, you’re in the right place.
Photography as well as film — from one supplier
Can I have photography as well as video?
Pauline and Holly’s day was filmed as a cinematic wedding film. If you’d like both, I offer photography and videography — booked separately or together as a combined package, delivered by one person in a single consistent style, with drone footage where the venue and airspace allow. Booking photo and film together means they match in tone, colour and feel, because the same eye shaped every part.
