Words from
our couples.
“Paul captured every single moment we never even knew was happening. When we look at the photos we can feel the whole day again. Genuinely the best money we spent on our wedding.”
“The film made us both cry. Paul has an extraordinary ability to make you feel completely at ease and the result is something that looks like a proper movie about your life.”
“We booked Paul after seeing his work and it was the single best decision of our planning. We didn’t even notice he was there half the time — but he got everything.”
Norfolk weddings,
told as they happen.
For more than fifteen years I’ve photographed and filmed weddings across Norfolk — from intimate Norwich ceremonies to barn celebrations tucked down a country lane. As a documentary wedding photographer in Norfolk, my approach is simple: capture the day honestly, as it unfolds, and finish it with a cinematic edit you’ll return to for the rest of your lives. No stiff posing, no missed moments — just your wedding, the way it actually felt.
A documentary approach, a cinematic finish
The best moments of a wedding day arrive when no one is performing — the quiet breath before the ceremony, the laugh that catches a parent off guard, the last dance when the room has gone soft and golden. That is what I am there for. I move quietly through your day rather than directing it, so the gallery you receive feels like your wedding, not a set of poses.
The cinematic side lives in the finish. I read natural light carefully, frame the wide Norfolk landscape against the smallest intimate detail, and grade every photograph and film with a consistent, timeless tone — rich, true colour that won’t look dated in a decade. Because the photography and the wedding film come from the same eye, the two never compete for the same shot.
Covering Norfolk, Norwich & East Anglia
Based in Thetford, I work right across Norfolk and Norwich, as well as neighbouring Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire — with UK-wide and destination weddings on request. Over the years I’ve photographed weddings at venues including Hockwold Hall and Little Green Barn near Diss, Tudor Barn in Ipswich, Vaulty Manor in Essex and Stetchworth Park in Cambridgeshire. If your venue isn’t on that list, it’s no trouble at all — I travel across the region every season and will happily talk through the journey to yours.
From first hello to final film
Every wedding starts with a relaxed conversation — by phone, video call or over coffee — so we can be sure we’re the right fit long before the day itself. On the morning, I arrive early and blend into the background, photographing the preparations, the ceremony and the celebration as they genuinely happen. Afterwards your images and film are carefully edited and delivered, ready to relive and to share, with the same documentary honesty and cinematic polish from the first frame to the last.

Questions,
answered.
Do you cover weddings outside Norfolk?
Yes. I’m based in Thetford and regularly photograph and film weddings across Norfolk, Norwich, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire, with UK-wide and destination weddings available on request.
Can I book photography and videography together?
Yes. You can book wedding photography on its own, or photography and film together as one package — covered by the same person for a consistent look and a calmer day with no clash between suppliers.
We feel awkward in front of the camera — will it feel forced?
No. My style is documentary, so you’re not performing all day. I capture moments as they happen and offer gentle direction only when it helps, so your photos and film feel natural rather than posed.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 12 to 18 months ahead, especially for peak summer Saturdays. If your date is closer than that, it’s still worth asking — I’ll always let you know honestly what’s available.
When will we receive our photos and film?
You’ll get a small set of preview images soon after the day, followed by your full edited gallery and wedding film within the agreed turnaround time.
Your wedding
deserves more.
