A film should let you recognise your wedding as it felt, including the moments you missed while everything was happening around you. I’m Paul Ovenden of Paul Mindy Photography, offering wedding videography in Wymondham and the surrounding Norfolk area.
I work in a relaxed documentary style, with careful audio planning for vows, readings and speeches. Coverage is available as video only or alongside photography, with the hours and finished films confirmed before booking.
See the approach at Park Farm, Hethersett
The Park Farm Hethersett wedding feature provides a nearby Norfolk example of wedding film coverage. Watching a real celebration is useful when deciding how you want the ceremony, guest reactions and atmosphere represented in your own film.
For still photographs, explore Wymondham wedding photography. You can compare both services without losing sight of the moments you want captured.
Garden moments and an indoor alternative
Outdoor celebrations can change quickly. The gallery photograph above shows a couple walking between guests with umbrellas: a reminder that weather is part of a real wedding story, not a reason to stop enjoying the day.
For your Wymondham wedding, we agree sheltered options, equipment access and the space available indoors. If a short outdoor portrait or film sequence works between showers, it can fit around the celebration rather than hold up the timetable.
Plan the route and the sound
If your ceremony is in a church and the reception is elsewhere, share both venues and any filming rules before booking. Time for travel, parking and audio setup helps protect the important moments from an overly tight schedule.
Readings, speeches and live performances need their own recording plan. Tell me which you want preserved in full, and whether speeches happen before, during or after the meal.
Choose coverage hours and finished edits separately
The number of filming hours describes the time on the day; it does not automatically tell you which films you receive. A documentary edit, a highlight and complete ceremony or speech recordings are different deliverables.
Compare wedding video packages and prices. Around nine hours often covers preparations to just after first dance, with your timetable determining the final choice. For photographs and film, see combined coverage.
Wymondham and the surrounding Norfolk area
Send your date, venue, preparations address and approximate timings. Include any important moments outside the usual schedule, access requirements and whether you want social clips as well as a longer film.
You can explore Wymondham wedding venues, Norwich wedding videography and the content-creation service while choosing your coverage. Drone footage is only planned where permissions and conditions allow.
Your questions, answered.
Do you cover Wymondham and Hethersett?
Yes. Wedding videography enquiries are welcome for Wymondham, Hethersett and the surrounding Norfolk area. Paul Mindy Photography is based in Thetford; your exact locations and travel are confirmed in the quote.
What happens if it rains on our wedding day?
We discuss sheltered and indoor filming options before the day. Outdoor moments can be fitted in when conditions allow, while ceremony, audio and the main celebration remain the priorities.
Can you film a church ceremony?
Yes, where the church and officiant permit filming. Camera positions, microphones and any restrictions are agreed in advance, and your quote confirms the recordings included.
Does full-day coverage mean a full-length recording of everything?
No. Coverage hours describe attendance on the day. Your package specifies the documentary, highlight and complete ceremony or speech edits delivered, so those choices are agreed before booking.
Can we book photography and video together?
Yes. Combined packages are available. We plan the photography and film priorities together, with additional support discussed where simultaneous events need it.
