Are you DBS checked?
Yes — I hold an Enhanced DBS Check (Disclosure and Barring Service), the highest level required for regulated activity with children and young people in the UK. Certificate available on request to school administrators or bursars.
Plus full public liability insurance and ongoing safeguarding awareness training. These are the basics any school photographer should have — happy to share documentation at quote stage.
How is consent managed?
I follow each school’s existing consent policy — I don’t make consent decisions, the school does. Most schools already have parental consent processes in place for photography, and I work within whatever framework the school operates.
Clear opt-out options are respected throughout the session, and any pupils whose parents have opted out are excluded from imagery before galleries are delivered. School administrators are always in control of which children appear where.
How long until galleries are live?
Usually within 5-7 business days for full edited galleries, with order links for parents to purchase prints and digital downloads available shortly after.
For time-sensitive marketing imagery (prospectus deadlines, social media campaigns), faster turnaround can be arranged at quote stage.
Can you also film proms or school events?
Yes — highlight films, short Reels and event reaction videos can be added to complement photography coverage. Particularly popular for school proms where students want shareable social-media content alongside the formal group photos.
Do you offer bulk orders for yearbooks?
Yes — volume pricing for whole-school yearbook orders, plus standardised crops and formatting across all year groups for clean yearbook layouts. Quoted at booking stage based on pupil numbers and final image format requirements.
