I’m Paul Ovenden of Paul Mindy Photography, an award-winning wedding photographer and videographer based in Thetford, Norfolk, with 15+ years of experience covering weddings across East Anglia and the wider UK. In 2025/26 I was named Specialist Photography Business of the Year by the Prestige Awards — independent commendation for the documentary-cinematic style I’ve built my work around.

My style is documentary-cinematic: real moments, natural emotion, clean colour, flattering light, and audio that sounds like you were there. Where permitted, I’ll add drone and 360-degree highlights to give your film that extra dimension without turning the day into a production.

We’re awkward in photos — will this feel cringey?
No. Most couples say this. I shoot documentary-style, so you’re not performing all day. I’ll give gentle direction when it helps (so you look great), then I’ll step back and capture the real moments.
The “no cringe” framing isn’t just marketing language — it’s the whole reason couples book my style over more traditional posed photography. You won’t feel like you’re under a microscope.
Do you do both photography and videography?
Yes — you can book photography only, or photography and videography together for one consistent look and a smoother, calmer day. One creative across both means consistent style and a calmer wedding day than juggling two separate suppliers.

Do you cover weddings outside Norfolk?
Yes — Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire are regular coverage. London weddings welcome, and UK-wide on request. If your venue is further away, send the details and I’ll confirm what’s possible.
